Here's the headline in the LA Times that caught my eye this morning:
UCLA mathematicians discover a 13-million-digit prime number
And here's the first sentence:
"UCLA mathematicians appear to have won a $100,000 prize from the Electronic Frontier Foundation for discovering a 13-million-digit prime number that has long been sought by computer users. "
I mean, I don't know about YOU, but I'VE been seeking it for YEARS. Probably ever since I even STARTED using a computer.
So I'm taking the rest of the day off.
